Since I just packed everything in one image, the file size is big. Sorry about that.
Hopefully it's not too confusing. I'm trying my best to explain how I ink.

Tools used for this:
Regular 2 HB pencil (for sketch)
Pentel Polymer Eraser
uni-ball Vision Exact (for base and re-inking)
uni-ball Vision Fine (for touch up inking)
and 8.5"x11" Sketch book
Photoshop for clean up. You may also use Gimp for the clean up, or other free softwares with Level or Histogram tool.
Is it just me, or Allucard looks kinda girly? Lol, Girlycard
Now seriously, I like your tutorial. I tried to ink the same way but I always felt I did something wrong. And I never found any tutorials (except damn Photoshop Inking tutorials), untill now. And I'm happy to see that someone's still inking without using PC too much.
So, thanx!

I wouldn't take PS3 even if it was free. I would rather spend 250+$ on 360 or Wii.
This was helpful. But I see that you used uni-ball. I have tried that in the past and I fount that they skip. could it have been just the way I was useing it or could it have been just maybe I didnt use the right ones you had listed O.o
I guess it depends on the paper too. Some paper are more "slippery" than the others, and are easier to smudge. Also don't press too hard, it tends to make pens "skip" too.
